Welcome to ProbashiCare — a one-stop service platform connecting Bangladeshi expatriates and their families to verified services in Healthcare, Transport (ProbashiCab), Insurance, Flights, Training, and Legal Assistance. ProbashiCare (“we”, “our”, or “us”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the ProbashiCare mobile application or pre-register through our website (www.probashicare.com).

By using ProbashiCare, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Scope

• The ProbashiCare Mobile App – used by individual users.
• The Website (www.probashicare.com) – informational site allowing users to pre-register for the app.
• The Pre-Registration Form – collects limited personal details for app onboarding.

This policy does not apply to external partner websites (e.g., hospitals, airlines, or insurers) which operate under their own privacy policies.

2. Information We Collect

A. Personal Data

We may collect the following personal information directly from you through the app or website pre-registration:

• Full Name
• Parents’ Names
• Nationality
• National Identification (NID) Number
• Passport Number
• Phone Number
• Gender

B. Service-Specific Data

Depending on which module you use, additional data may include:

• Healthcare: selected hospital, package details, and booking time.
• ProbashiCab: pickup and destination locations (temporary).
• Insurance: policyholder and nominee details.
• Flights: traveler information (no passport retained after ticketing).
• Training: course enrollment, progress, and certification records.
• Legal: case summaries and uploaded files.

C. Device Data

Device model, operating system, language preference, and regional information may be collected for app performance and fraud prevention.

Neither the app nor the website uses cookies or tracking tools.

3. Camera Access

The ProbashiCare app may request permission to access your device’s camera. No photo or video content is captured or stored without your consent, and images are only retained as part of your user profile.

4. How We Use Your Information

• Create or activate your ProbashiCare account.
• Process pre-registration and notify you upon app launch.
• Verify identity and authenticate via password-based login.
• Deliver and manage requested services (booking, transport, training, consultation, etc.).
• Send confirmations, updates, and notifications.
• Maintain lawful operations and prevent misuse.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

• Consent: for sensitive data (health, insurance, or location).
• Contractual necessity: to provide services you request.
• Legitimate interest: to ensure app functionality and security.
• Legal obligation: to comply with Bangladeshi and international regulations.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We only share data necessary for service delivery with verified partners such as:

• Hospitals, healthcare providers, and laboratories.
• Taxi and transport operators.
• Insurance companies and underwriters.
• Airlines and travel agents.
• Training institutions.
• Legal professionals.
• Technical vendors (SMS gateway, hosting).

ProbashiCare never sells or rents your data to advertisers or unrelated third parties.

7. Payments and Financial Data

ProbashiCare does not directly process or store payment card details. At present, no payment functionality is integrated into the app. If payment features are added in the future, they will be processed securely by authorized providers, and this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

• Active user data is retained as long as your account remains active.
• Healthcare, insurance, and legal data are retained for up to five (5) years if legally required.
• Transport and training data are anonymized after twelve (12) months.
• Pre-registration records are deleted if the user does not activate within one (1) year.
• You may request deletion or export of your data by emailing subprobashi@probashipaybd.com.

9. Data Security

• TLS 1.3 in transit and provider-managed encryption at rest on Neon (neon.tech) PostgreSQL.
• Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms with unique salts; no plaintext storage.
• Role-based access controls and least-privilege access for staff and services.
• Regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments.

10. Your Rights

• Access and obtain a copy of your data.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion (“Right to be Forgotten”).
• Withdraw consent for optional data uses.
• File a complaint with the Bangladesh Data Protection Commission (once established).

11. Children’s Privacy

ProbashiCare is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 where applicable by law), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that personal information of a child has been collected, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us with information may contact us at subprobashi@probashipaybd.com to request deletion.

12. Service-Specific Privacy Annexes

• Healthcare: Data used only for bookings; deleted after completion.
• ProbashiCab: Location data accessed only during trip; deleted within 24 hours.
• Insurance: Policy data encrypted; no payment data stored.
• Flights: Passenger info sent securely to airline APIs; no passport data kept post-travel.
• Training: Shared with institutes for certification; deleted after completion.
• Legal: Case summaries encrypted and deleted after case closure.

13. Pre-Registration via Website

When you complete the pre-registration form on our website, we collect your name, phone number, and optional demographic details to invite you to app onboarding. This information is not shared with any third party and is deleted within thirty (30) days if you withdraw your interest.

14. Website Information

Our website serves informational purposes only and does not collect cookies, analytics data, or login credentials. Visitors can freely view information about ProbashiCare services, support, and this Privacy Policy.

15. Advertising

The ProbashiCare app does not serve third-party advertisements and does not share user data with advertisers.

16. International Data Transfers

Data may be stored on secure, GDPR-compliant servers located in Singapore or similar regions. All partners handling data are bound by strict contractual obligations and data processing agreements.

17. Policy Updates

ProbashiCare may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features or legal requirements. The most recent version will always be published on www.probashicare.com and within the app.
